I found out that the main people who would be interested in my future magazine would be women aged 11-20. They seem to like a mix of rock and alternative rock, so I may make my magazine of this since it seems to be popular so far. I may change it to pop because I personally feel that, this is the most common music genre for girls aged 11-20. Most of the artists that have been used are people who do rock or alternative rock. Which backs up the genre that has been given. Most of the magazines that have been given are gossip/fashion magazines, this makes me think about putting gossip about musical celebrities in this and maybe fashion things, but if I did this it no longer would be a music magazine. So if I did put things like that in there I'd have to be careful with how much of it I put in so it doesn't change the genre of magazine. The most common answer for the layout is for it to have an even balance of both images and text. The main colour chosen is Red, then a tie between Blue, Purple and Grey.

I will do a draft to see what it will actually be like, then once I done this I will use a design program (most likely Photoshop) to make the rest of it. I'll take my own pictures to put on the cover and in the magazine, I'll use the design program to help put the picture the title and everything else in the order/layout that I want and have put on my draft.
The type of media institution I will use to distribute my magazine will be Bauer Media because they have already distributed a wide variety of magazines and music magazines.
I will attract my audience by having an attractive picture that is eye catching. I will also have a colourful masthead that will link with the type of magazine it is. I may have a puff in on the frontcover as well to attract my audience more.
