Magazine Content Page Analysis

This content page has more pictures than the others I have looked this is because this type of magazine is mainly for gossip, so they have the pictures to show the story with a bit of text to explain the picture. They also have lots of colours in this page and it's chaotic with all the pictures and text boxes. This shows that it may think more of the content of the magazine than the aesthetics of it. It does have some sense of order because the side bar is in categories.

This magazine is aimed at younger teenage girls who are in to fashion. You are able to tell this because the name 'Vogue' is huge in the fashion industry and known for it all around the world. You can also tell that it's for the younger audience because it isn't as formal in it's layout as its adult counterpart. You can tell this because it has hearts around some numbers, this shows it's more girly because they like to put hearts around things. They also have an image of a music artist which is also into fashion and is loved and amired by may teenage girls.

This content page is very neatly layedout. Also they have only used two picture, to show that it's the words you should be looking at instead. They have also have put the contents in to catergories, this shows it's quite formal for the type of magazine it is and that it's may be for a more mature audience. They have a large picture on it, this could be used just to take up space so when they type the brief explanation of what's in it isn't to detail and doesn't give to much away to the audience and makes them have to read on to find out more. I think I might use the simple layout that they have used because it looks good and not childish.
